Initial Psychiatric Evaluation:
(60 Minutes)

During your initial 60-minute visit, we’ll take time to really understand your story—what you’ve been through, what you’re feeling now, and what’s helped (or hasn’t). This is where we begin building a plan that truly fits you. It’s a chance for us to connect, listen, and lay the foundation for everything that comes next.

By the end, you’ll have:

1. A precise understanding of your situation.
2. A treatment plan that could include medication management, therapy, or both.
3. Your next steps with your treatment plan.

After your initial evaluation, I offer focused follow-up, 30-minute medication management appointments designed to ensure your treatment continues to support your well-being.

Medication Management
(30 Minutes)

What to expect with Medication Management?

Medication Management sessions offer a supportive space to review your treatment—whether you’re starting a new medication or maintaining an existing plan. You’ll discuss what’s working, what’s not, and any life changes that may affect your health.

These 30-minute follow-up visits will provide ongoing support and help us monitor your progress to make sure your treatment plan continues to be the right fit. They provide a “check-in” to see how things are going and if any adjustments need to be made.

During each medication management session, we’ll assess:

How Your Medication Is Working

Are you noticing improvements? Are your symptoms responding as expected?

Any Side Effects

We’ll talk you through any physical or emotional changes you may be experiencing to ensure your treatment remains safe and tolerable.

Changes in Your Symptoms, Mood, Sleep Habits, or Overall Functioning

Mental health is multi-faceted and so is your care. We’ll adjust as-needed to meet you where you are.

Life Updates that Might Impact Your Treatment

Major changes in your life–relationships, career, stress levels, or even routine can influence your body’s response to medication.

Your treatment plan is a collaborative process, tailored to your unique needs and goals. Together, we’ll find the right balance to support your best possible quality of life

Second Opinion Visit
(90 Minutes)

What is included with a Second Opinion Visit?

A second opinion is a longer visit (this can be a one time visit) lasting 90 min, with an evaluation by the psychiatrist, that offers a thorough review of your diagnosis and treatment plan—especially valuable in cases of treatment resistance, diagnostic uncertainty, or when progress feels stalled.

Comprehensive Review of Medical Records

Includes diagnostic reports, treatment history, medication lists, and progress notes.
Helps the evaluating psychologist or psychiatrist understand your mental health journey so far.

Detailed Psychiatric Interview

A thorough conversation about your symptoms, experiences, and concerns.
May include structured diagnostic assessments or psychological testing.

Family Member Interview (Optional but Common)

Especially useful in cases like schizophrenia or bipolar disorder.
Provides additional context and insight into your behavior and functioning.

Evaluation of Diagnosis and Treatment Plan

The second opinion may confirm, refine, or revise your current diagnosis.
Treatment recommendations may include medication adjustments, therapy options, or alternative approaches.

Written Summary and Recommendations

A detailed report summarizing findings and proposed next steps.
Often shared with your current provider to support continuity of care.
